Tenable Expands Exposure Management Platform with New Open Connector

New capability enables organizations to integrate third-party and internal data into Tenable One, helping security teams improve risk prioritization and accelerate remediation through AI-driven insights.

Tenable has announced the launch of the Tenable One Open Connector, a new capability designed to help organisations consolidate exposure data from third-party security tools, internal systems, and custom sources into a single view of cyber risk.

The release extends the capabilities of the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform, allowing security teams to ingest and operationalise data from virtually any source. By combining this functionality with more than 300 existing integrations, organisations can gain broader visibility across their attack surface and improve risk-based decision-making.

Alongside the launch, Tenable also introduced the Tenable Open Partner Ecosystem Network (OPEN), reinforcing the company’s open-platform strategy aimed at helping enterprises connect disparate security tools and reduce operational silos.

As organisations adopt more security technologies and AI-powered solutions, exposure data is increasingly fragmented across multiple platforms. Tenable believes this fragmentation creates visibility gaps that can delay remediation efforts and make it harder for security teams to identify the risks that matter most.

This data powers Tenable Hexa AI, our agentic engine to deliver sharper prioritisation, more accurate insights, and faster, more effective remediation.”

The company says the Open Connector has been designed to support the growing volume of security findings generated by AI-driven tools. Organisations can integrate data from AI security platforms, cloud environments, identity systems, code security solutions, internal asset inventories, and threat intelligence sources to build a more complete risk picture.

Key capabilities of the new Open Connector include:

• Unified ingestion of exposure data from AI models, internal platforms, unsupported security tools, and common file formats.
• Consolidation of third-party, custom, and native telemetry to improve prioritisation and automate remediation workflows.
• Continuous synchronisation of exposure data to maintain visibility as environments evolve.
• Flexible data mapping and customisation to support specific reporting, analytics, and remediation requirements.

According to Tenable, the combination of broader data integration and AI-powered analysis will enable organisations to move beyond fragmented security visibility and towards a more contextual, business-aligned approach to exposure management.
